ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
IMS Unison University (IUU), a constituent of the Unison Education Foundation, was established in 1996 as the Institute of Management Studies. After significantly contributing to higher education, the Government of Uttarakhand granted its approval in 2013 to establish it as IMS Unison University. Boasting a legacy of over 25 years, we are proud of our pioneering history, our distinguished present, and our exciting future.
The School of Law (SoL) stands as one of Northern India’s rapidly growing law schools, committed to delivering exceptional legal education with an interdisciplinary approach. ABOUT THE EVENT
It is with immense pride that we present the 2nd Edition of the IUU Trial Advocacy Competition, taking place from November 28th-29th , 2024. Organized by the Trial Advocacy Society, this prestigious event aims to highlight the legal expertise of emerging talents, providing them with an exceptional platform to hone their professional skills.
HISTORY
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, IMS Unison University, Dehradun, is proud to announce the 2nd Edition of the IUU Trial Advocacy Competition, 2024. The first event proved to be a significant milestone in legal education, providing students with an invaluable platform to enhance their advocacy skills and experience real-world courtroom dynamics. The overwhelming response and positive impact on participants have inspired the continuation of this event, which promises even greater opportunities for law students to engage in practical learning, refine their legal strategies, and interact with esteemed legal professionals.
ELIGIBILTY
The competition is open for Students pursuing three/five years L.L.B Degree Course from recognized law college/ University in India, subject to fulfilment of the registration formalities. The participants are inclusive of L.L.M students as well.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official working language of the Moot Court competition is English.
TEAM COMPOSITION
A team shall comprise a maximum of three individuals, specifically two mooters and one researcher.
