About the Opportunity
Athena Legal is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join its Core Criminal Practice Team. This role is ideal for seasoned legal professionals eager to advance their careers in criminal litigation and trial advocacy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 4-8 years in criminal law practice.
- Must have:
- Appeared before trial courts.
- Assisted clients in investigations.
- Argued bail applications.
- Represented clients in criminal appeals, revisions, bails, and quashing cases before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and Supreme Court.
- Proficiency in cross-examination and other trial court proceedings.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in trial courts, the High Court, and the Supreme Court in criminal matters.
- Assist in investigations and develop effective legal strategies.
- Draft and argue bail applications, criminal appeals, revisions, and quashing petitions.
- Conduct cross-examinations and handle diverse trial court proceedings.
Location : New Delhi
Salary: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
