Advocate Sushant Singh is a practicing lawyer with extensive experience in constitutional law, public interest litigation (PIL), and socio-legal issues. He has been involved in matters before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and other judicial forums. Known for his commitment to civil liberties and access to justice, Advocate Singh also actively engages in policy analysis and grassroots legal awareness initiatives.
His office is now inviting applications for Socio-Legal Internship positions aimed at students interested in using the law as an instrument of change.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will be involved in:
- Drafting of Petitions, PILs, SLPs, Writs, and Replies
- Legal research for ongoing litigation before various Courts
- Preparation of case briefs, legal opinions, and note sheets
- Policy analysis on constitutional, civil rights, and social justice issues
- Creating content for legal awareness and rights-based public initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing a degree in law
- Strong legal research and drafting skills
- Keen interest in public interest litigation, constitutional law, and access to justice
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently
Preference Will Be Given To
- Applicants with prior exposure to PILs, human rights, or legal aid work
- One position is reserved for a first-generation lawyer aspirant as a commitment to inclusivity
- Candidates comfortable working across time zones (due to possible travel of the supervising advocate)
