ONE CERTIFICATE COURSE ON “HOW TO EXCEL IN DRAFTING LEGAL DOCUMENTS INCLUDING AGREEMENTS, PLAINTS, PETITIONS AND LEGAL OPINIONS” BY JUS CORPUS & MANU LEGAL

Registration Fee: INR 1499/- only.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Learning how to draft different types of petitions to be submitted in court, writing contracts for clients, and preparing legal opinions or ‘legal memoranda’ (not moot court notes) are all essential skills for attorneys. A lawyer with these abilities may offer a wide range of services to their clients, all of which can be billed to them. Although these abilities are very useful, they are either not taught at all or are taught just briefly to law students. Thousands of students have asked us over the past few years for an introductory drafting course that will help them get started with the practical side of the law, even though we offer courses focusing on criminal litigation, civil litigation, contract drafting, business laws for in-house counsels, arbitration, NCLT Litigation, mergers and acquisitions, etc. Having taken these suggestions into consideration, we have decided to create this course. Any lawyer who wants to do a good job for their client has to be proficient in legal writing. As your knowledge and experience grow, you may come to appreciate the fact that writing proficiency varies among forums and sub-fields of law. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and arbitration petitions, for instance, will operate differently from criminal court petitions. Similar to how an employment contract differs greatly from a shareholders agreement. However, every sort of client work requires at least the most fundamental abilities in legal writing. It’s crucial to start out with a solid knowledge base before embarking on a learning journey. Do not worry if you have not yet decided which subfield of law you want to pursue as a career.
